The Brain Gremlin is the first episode of The Sorry Doctor's first wave On the Line.
A trip into the past brings The Doctor and David face-to-face with the serial killer Jack the Ripper.
Plot
Edit
The TARDIS falls out with The Doctor and David after The Doctor tries to cook a pasta dish. It abandons them in Victorian London next to a friendly man who turns out to be Jack the Ripper, who has a Brain Gremlin sat on his head. Brain Gremlins latch themselves onto a human host and change their behaviour. Under the impression that the Brain Gremlin is what's made Jack the Ripper evil, David removes it from his head, before stepping on it. They learn too late that the Brain Gremlin has actually been making Jack the Ripper a nice chap. Before Jack can kill them, the TARDIS returns to save the day - flattening him instantly.
Characters
Edit
The Doctor
Edit
The Doctor does absolutely nothing to affect events, apart from getting them into the situation in the first place.
David
Edit
David jumps to the conclusion that the Brain Gremlin is evil a little too early and ends up crushing it with his foot.
The TARDIS
Edit
The TARDIS falls out with The Doctor after he attempts to cook pasta. It retaliates of its own accord by landing in London and forcing The Doctor and David out, before dematerialising. It returns a few minutes later to save the day by crushing Jack the Ripper.
